(a) Syndications and Bilateral facilities- Providing advice on syndicated and bilateral facility transactions pertaining to aircraft financing, ship financing, equipment financing, project financing and property financing;
(b) Capital Markets- Advising on fixed income products and capital markets transactions (in particular Profit Rate Swaps, FX agreements, Wakala and Mudarabah placements, Sukuk Financing and ISDA agreements) and participated in the workshop co-ordinated by IIFM on the development of the Shariah compliant ISDA-IIFM Master Agreement;
(c) Restructuring - Advising on restructuring related matters pertaining to both bilateral and club facilities;
(d) Funds and Investment Management- Advising on the structuring, establishment and launch of onshore and offshore funds (conventional and Shariah compliant), as well as discretionary and non-discretionary investment portfolios;
(e) Islamic Finance- Structuring and implementation of various Shariah compliant products for such transactions, including Commodity Murabaha, Ijarah, Istisna, Ijarah Mawsuffa Fi Thimma, Mudaraba, Murabaha Facility, Wakala, Profit Rate Swaps, Musharakah, Share Financing and Sukuk Financing FX Spot, FX Forward (based on Wa’ad structures);
(f) Trade Finance- Providing advice on trade finance related documentation including but not limited to Guarantees and Standby Letters of Credit; and (g) Risk Participation- Negotiating Master Risk Participation Agreements pertaining to both funded and unfunded facilities with numerous counterparty banks on a global level.
